Dr. Timothy W. Shannon
Dr. Shannon received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1979 after undergraduate studies at UCLA. He graduated from SCCO Magna Cum Laude. He has received additional education, training, and licensure from the State Board of Optometry, which allows him to diagnose and treat eye disease and injuries, including glaucoma. He has also received advanced education in the diagnosis and treatment of Computer Vision Syndrome.
Dr. Shannon has been professionally active as a chairman of several local optometric organizations and managed care networks. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (including the Contact Lens Section). He has published articles in optometric journals and has lectured both locally and nationally. Dr. Shannon is very active in his local community. He was a member of the Santa Monica Jaycees from 1979 - 1985 and has been a Santa Monica Rotarian since 1985. He has served on the board several times and chaired many projects including a Literacy Program for school age children.
At home, Dr. Shannon spends time with his wife and three children. He has been active in Boy Scouts, YMCA Indian Guide, Princess, and Trailmate programs, and the kids' schools and sports. The family loves skiing and traveling to new places. Dr. Shannon's favorite hobby is fly-fishing.

Dr. Lisa E.S. Veal
After working with Dr. Shannon previously as a Board Certified Optician and Contact Lens Technician, Dr. Veal decided to rejoin the practice when she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. She has received training in ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, low vision and contact lenses including specialty lenses such as multifocals and lenses that correct astigmatism. She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology.
Outside of Optometry, she enjoys photography, baking, crafts, and spending time with her husband and daughters.

Michael Chung
Michael is a Board Certified Optician who has been with our practice for 10 years. He has been in the optometric industry for 16 years and will use his skills and knowledge to ensure that you are informed on all the latest technology in eyewear. Outside of the office Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Winnie Lau
Winnie has been associated with our practice for the past 19 years. She has been in the health care field for the past 22 years and treats all of the patients in the practice as if they were her extended family and friends. |

Autumn Morehead
Autumn has been an optician in our practice for 6 years. She has 12 years of optometric industry experience. Having received her certificate as a vision therapist, Autumn has helped many people by providing them with vision therapy including patients who have experienced a stroke, athletes and children. She currently strives to provide our patients with the best eyecare and eyewear available. In her spare time she likes to volunteer at animal shelters.

Patches Dunehew
Patches has been with our practice for 2 years. She recently received an optician certification and is an optician in training. She previously spent many years working with special needs children and also spent many years serving in our Armed Forces. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Michelle Castro
Michelle is a receptionist in our office and has been working with us for 1 year. Her future plans include continuing her educational pursuits in the field of business. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family including her 2 older brothers and going out with her friends. She loves to draw and has a dog named Cookie. |
